Rivet City is an emblematic settlement in the Capital Wasteland. They give TSC supplies and military support while the TSC purifies food for them and clears the way to Underworld, a settlement of Ghouls in the Museum of History in downtown DC.
The city has a council headed by Chancellor Truman and two of ambassadors of the TSC.
When the Commander gave his speech in Rivet City, it was attacked by the East Coast chapter of the Brotherhood of Steel. Many were killed in the attack, including two members of Artemis Team, Sergeant Hawk and Private Ruiz. This pushed the TSC into war against the East Coast Brotherhood.
